Swatches and Samples

The following swatch sets are available. The swatch sets contain at least one example of each color and one or more examples of each quality pertaining to a particular swatch set. Please use the color and quality listings available on other pages in the Web Catalog as a crosss reference table to ALL the colors available in a given quality. No individual samples are available. The use of color and quality swatches is highly recommended to avoid unnecessary returns.

SAMPLE STRIPS: As something new, we are now offering to supply individual "Sample Strips" of any quality/color combination(s) of your choice. The width of a "Sample Strip" is 3.6" = 0.1 yard (same width as a business card) with a length of 55" to 57". Click on Web Catalog and select the quality/color combinations you desire. In the shopping cart, change the default quantity setting from 1 to 0.1 and click on "re-calculate" to obtain the price of the "Sample Strip(s)". When your shopping is completed proceed to Check Out.

UPS Charges & Foreign Shipping

UPS CHARGES FOR DOMESTIC ORDERS excluding Next Day, Second Day, Third Day Ground, Heavy Orders (discs & hardware) and orders to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico (see below) but including insurance:
Orders between $25 and $100	$9.00
Orders between $101 and $200	$9.50
Orders between $201 and $300	$11.00
Orders between $301 and $400	$12.00
Orders between $401 and $ 500	$13.50
For orders of $501 or more, please add $ 3.75 for each $100 in merchandise ordered over $501. Next Day, Second Day, Third Day Ground and Heavy Orders (discs & hardware) are shipped at standard UPS rates plus insurance. Orders for Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico are shipped at standard UPS rates (Second Day rates) plus insurance .  If requested, we can ship orders to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico at cost through the postal service which is cheaper but takes longer.
COD Charge (UPS only):	$9.00
Canadian and International Shipping Charges: All Canadian and International orders are shipped through the postal service at our cost; FOB Costa Mesa, California unless other arrangements are made. We find this to be the cheapest way of shipping to Canadian and International destinations. You may encounter minor delays as the postal service does not pick up at our warehouse on a daily basis. Custom duties, if any, and custom clearance at the end destination are the customer's responsibility. We enter a tariff code on all Canadian invoices, which should allow mohair shipped to Canada to enter duty free, but we cannot guarantee that the Canadian custom service will follow this tariff code. Obtaining a refund is the responsibility of the customer. We cannot guarantee transit time using the postal service nor can we quote estimated freight charges as the weight of the shipment is not known until the yardage has been cut. DOMESTIC TERMS: FOB Costa Mesa, California. We ship domestic orders by UPS only except for Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico. If requested, we will use the postal service for Hawaiian, Alaskan or Puerto Rican destinations . Minimum domestic order is $25.00. California residents please add 7-3/4% tax (or curent tax) or submit a proper Resale Card. All prices are in U.S. Dollars and subject to change without notice. Prepayment, COD or Net 30 Days on approved credit. There is a $15.00 charge for any returned check. 1-1/2% month interest on overdue accounts. Returns must be authorized in advance and are subject to a restocking charge. We must be notified of any claims and returns no later than 30 days from your invoice date. We are not responsible for typographical errors.

HOW TO OBTAIN 20 YARD PRICING ON SMALL ORDERS: All our exclusive Norton and Helmbold fabrics are always available at the 20 yard price (our lowest wholesale price) as long as you order a single full yard piece (or more, of course) of any of the many hundred color or quality choices available from Norton or Helmbold. Cuts of less than one yard pieces are not available at the 20 yard price unless specifically offered. This has been our way of bringing you the world's best Mohair and Alpaca fabrics at AFFORDABLE prices for amost 18 years.

CUTS OF LESS THAN 1 YARD: Cuts of less than 1 yard pieces (1/4, 1/3 or 1/2 yard cuts) are available. However, the 20 yard price may not apply to these small cuts. We do want to point out that we cut "fat quarters" allowing for a better layout of your pattern and less waste, unless instructed otherwise. There are no cutting charges on orders of 2 yards or more, which include smaller than one yard pieces. No cuts of less than one yard are available on Sale and Promotional offers below the 20 yard price level unless specifically noted.
