Snapshot! Quality 800 - String. We offer many different qualities in 'String', which is the same as 'unfinished' mohair. Many customers use it 'as is'...or dye it themselves for their own custom colors. As the String mohair is inserted in the hot dye-bath, the mohair strands will 'open up' (burst) resulting in a finish similar to what you are used to seeing. Quality 800-String is a 3/4+" dense 'String' mohair pile from Norton. The creator of 'Peary' is saying: "This is my first String Mohair bear! I used quality 800 and must admit I thought it would be difficult. I was amazed at how easy it was to work with and thrilled with the result".
