Our Cuts in Centimeters
Since we are an American-based
company, our fabric measurements are in yards and inches instead of meters
and centimeters. To assist our International customers we have translated
our "cuts" into centimeters.
1. Fabric cuts (the width of our fabrics is between 52" to 54"
= 132 cm to 137 cm:
a. One yard = 36" = approx. 91.5 cm
b. A 1/2 yard = 18" = approx. 45.5+ cm
c. A 1/3 yard = 12" = approx. 30.5 cm
d. A "fat" 1/4 yard = 18" x 25+" = approx. 45.5+ cm
x 65+ cm
e. A "fat" 1/6 yard = 12" x 25+" = approx. 30.5 cm
x 65+ cm
f. A "fat" 1/8 yard = 9" x 25+" = approx. 23 cm x
65+ cm
g. A 12 x 12" square = approx. 30.5 cm x 30.5 cm
2. Shipping: All our International orders are shipped via the Postal Service
as this is cheaper. This means that we do not know the weight of your
order until your order has been packaged. It also means that we do not
know the shipping charge until your order has been turned over to the
Post Office.
However, YOU are
now able to ESTIMATE your freight expenses
by using the U.S. Postal Service's "International Rate Calculator".

will take you to the web site of the Postal Service. Go to "Calculate
Rates" and from there to "International Rate Calculator"
and finally "Package". If possible, we use "Global Airmail
Letter Post" for packages up to 4 pounds (cheaper) and "Global
Airmail Parcel Post" for packages over 4 pounds. As a rough guide,
one yard of short pile fur weighs 2.5 to 3 pounds; a longer, denser fur
weighs about 3.5 to 4 pounds. The link to the "Rate Calculator"
should be considered information only. We ship Canadian and International
orders at cost subject to our minimum shipping charge for domestic orders.
3. The customer is
responsible for any custom duties and clearing the shipment through customs.
